Description: Washington State incorporated cities, including Hospital Benefit Zones, depicted as polygons. Various Puget Sound cities are represented by multiple polygons to accomodate Regional Transit Authority (RTA) boundaries that do not cover the entire city. Attributes include Washington State Department of Revenue Sales and Use Tax Location Codes. Boundaries and location codes are updated quarterly and are based upon annexation and change documents received from the various municipalities and other authoritative sources. Hospital Benefit Zones (HBZ) are included as part of the intended location code determination solution. Currently, Hospital Benefit Zones include pieces of both incorporated Gig Harbor and unincorporated Pierce County. This layer is intended for use in process with other layers to identify Sales and Use Tax Location Codes and associate them with geocoded address ranges.
